Position Overview: We are seeking a seasoned and strategic-minded Delivery Manager to lead our software delivery operations with a strong focus on meeting and exceeding customer expectations. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of software projects, managing a team of project managers, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery processes and methodologies while prioritizing customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities : - Lead the end-to-end delivery of software projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and exceed customer quality standards. - Collaborate closely with customers to understand their requirements, expectations, and feedback throughout the project lifecycle. - Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, with a keen eye on customer needs and preferences. - Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets that align with customer objectives and priorities. - Allocate resources and coordinate with team members to ensure project tasks are completed on time and meet customer requirements. - Proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery or customer satisfaction. - Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to customers, ensuring transparency and alignment with their expectations. - Conduct regular project reviews and retrospectives with customers to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement. - Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing proactive communication, support, and escalation management as needed. - Manage relationships with external vendors and subcontractors to ensure their work meets customer standards and expectations. - Mentor and coach delivery managers and project teams, fostering a customer-centric mindset and approach to project delivery. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery processes and methodologies while prioritizing customer satisfaction and value delivery. Technical Skills : - Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Microsoft Project. - Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Kanban. - Familiarity with software development technologies and languages, such as Java, Python, JavaScript,etc. - Experience with version control systems such as Git. - Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. - Understanding of DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines. - Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. Experience & Qualification : - Degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. - Proven experience as a Delivery Manager or Program Manager in a software development environment, with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and relationship management. - Strong understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile and Waterfall, with a customer-centric mindset. - Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work while keeping customer needs at the forefront. - Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers and stakeholders. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing customer satisfaction. - Experience managing and leading teams, with a focus on mentorship, development, and fostering a customer-centric culture. customer-centric culture. - PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is preferred. - Previous experience in a senior leadership role with a focus on customer satisfaction and relationship management is a plus.
