Delivery Manager IT Hardware / Network / Security
- As a Delivery Manager (Network) / Project Coordinator with a focus on IT hardware, the role will involve managing the delivery of network infrastructure projects and coordinating IT hardware deployments within an organization.
- The role involves working closely with stakeholders, including project managers, network engineers, vendors, and end-users, to ensure the successful implementation of network solutions and the efficient deployment of IT hardware
Responsibilities:
- Project Management and Coordination: Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables related to network infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and schedules. Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and milestones
- Track and manage project-related documentation, including project plans, status reports, change requests, and stakeholder communications.
- Network Infrastructure Delivery: Plan and oversee the implementation of network infrastructure projects, including network upgrades, expansions, and technology refreshes.
- Coordinate with network engineers to define technical requirements, design network solutions, and procure necessary hardware and software components
- Collaborate with IT support teams to develop support processes and documentation for ongoing network maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate the procurement, inventory management, and deployment of IT hardware, such as servers, workstations, laptops, and peripherals
- Develop and maintain deployment schedules, coordinate hardware installations, and oversee the configuration and testing of hardware devices.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to obtain quotes, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of hardware and network services
- Monitor vendor performance and adherence to contractual obligations, service level agreements (SLAs), and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with Professional certifications like PMP, ITIL, Six Sigma.
- Should have 10 yrs experience on IT Hardware / Network / Project coordination
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and network protocols.
- Familiarity with network design principles, network security, and industry best practices.
- Experience in coordinating IT hardware deployments, including procurement, inventory management, and installation.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA).
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, with attention to detail and a focus on meeting project objectives.
