Our client is a Singapore HQed premier investment technology lab, catering to BFSI clients globally.
They are looking for a competent and passionate Delivery Manager to join them.
About the Delivery Manager position :
- Delivery Manager acts a bridge between the customer and the service delivery teams and takes accountability for the timelines, cost and profitability of the projects.
- He/she creates and leverages networks in the client organizations and establish "trusted relationship" at the CXO level.
Delivery Manager responsibilities are :
- Ensure compliance to project management principles, processes and standards
- Ensure compliance to various project management and monitoring processes within organization.
- Managing multi-track programs from initiation to closure using various project delivery methodologies like Waterfall/ Scrum/ Continuous Deployment (CICD).
- Planning project activities viz., scoping, estimation, tracking, change management, delivery management; post-implementation support.
- Implement project plans within preset budgets and deadlines while monitoring critical path items.
- Providing strategies to the leadership team for continuous improvement in effectiveness & efficiency of the business.
- Strong team builder and facilitator- fosters an atmosphere that encourages highly talented professionals to balance high-level skills and maximum production.
- Thought leadership to create ideas to solve customer pain points through proactive solutions and pitches.
- Providing insights on client's business strategies to the service delivery teams to help identify opportunities for end-to-end business impact projects.
Qualification, skills and abilities are :
- MBA/B.Tech/B.E from a Tier 1/Tier 2 Institution.
- 5-8+ years' experience in Project Management, 4+ years in Delivery Management, Technology Consulting, or similar role.
- IT Project Management, Delivery Management, Software Development, Agile/Scrum and CICD
- Project Management Certifications like PMP/SCM/IITL/Prince 2
- Demonstrated ability to think on your feet and make good decisions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and desire to work in a team based environment.
Behavioural Competencies :
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Capability to deliver on tight schedules with excellent task management capabilities.
- Experience in working in cross functional teams.
