Position Title: Delivery Lead - Data Analytics (Equivalent to AVP/Sr.AVP)

Reporting to: Vice President - Analytics

Work Location: Pune

Experience required: 10-14 years

Summary of the Role:

The Delivery Lead - Data Analytics will play a pivotal role in leading and managing all the data analytics engagements, delivery and teams. He/She will manage all the team members in the Data Analytics Practice including data scientists and analysts and achieve the highest levels of client satisfaction and targeted project deliveries.

Job Responsibilities:

- Analytical Expertise: Provide subject matter expertise in advanced analytics across verticals. Generate insights and present findings and deliverables to clients and ensure that the project deliveries meet the requirements of clients. Develop advanced analytical frameworks, algorithms, methodologies, processes and solutions that are built on customer centricity.

- Solution development: Work with the Chief Technical Officer and build analytical solutions across Industry Verticals leveraging deep business understanding and top notch analytical expertise. Develop applications and products which can be commercially leveraged by SGA. Keep the entire team in sync with the latest developments in the Data Analytics domain and the relevant technological progression.

- Program management: Ensure that all project deliverables are completed on schedule and in accordance with client's needs and expectations as per the statement of work (SOW) Ensure appropriate resource utilization, and quality of delivery. Define and achieve the standard metrics and KPIs for clients and establish processes to measure them.

- The Delivery Lead will also be responsible for the design & review of the solution, innovations around scale of the solution, methodologies used, and infrastructure utilized for project delivery and cost optimization from SGA's perspective.

- People management: The Delivery Lead will be the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for recruitment in the Data Analytics Practice and will liaise with the HR team to manage recruitments. Manage teams of data scientists and analysts and be responsible for their performance appraisals and career progression. Manage conflict, internal challenges, team motivation and people principles. The Delivery Lead is expected to provide leadership to the team members and mentor them by conducting regular Talk, Listen and Act (TLA) sessions with the team members.

Technical Skills

- Hands on Experience in at least five of the following - Microsoft Excel, Base SAS, SAS Enterprise Miner, IBM SPSS Modeler, Teradata Warehouse Miner (TWM), Oracle Data Miner (ODM), KXEN, R, RevolutionR, Python, TCLTK, Mahout, Hadoop.

- Should be familiar with Database Management, Looping, Parallel processing, Algorithms, Database connectivity, Big Data processing and Data warehousing.

- Hands on experience in utilizing Support vector machine (SVM), Random forest, Neural Networks, Bayesian algorithms, Logistic & Linear Regression, ARIMA, Association Analysis, Decision Tree Analysis, Choice based Conjoint, Structural Equation Modeling and Clustering.

Other Skills

- High level of competence in Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning and Problem Solving

- Ability and willingness to work with large amounts of data and work on multiple projects simultaneously

- Advanced level of Knowledge in Mathematics, Statistics or Economics

- Process and quality orientation

- Good administration and communication skills (verbal and written)

Education

Masters in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics or Engineering from any of the Top 5 Colleges in the discipline.
