Our client is a global leader in Engineering and R&D (ER&D) services with presence across the world. It is a subsidiary of a large conglomerate and is engaged in providing engineering solutions. Its services include product design, analysis, prototyping and testing and embedded solutions. They specialize in disruptive technology space such as 5G, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Factory and Autonomous Transport.

Responsibilities:

- Lead all the stage gates of projects like Basic Engineering, FEED, Detail Design, Procurement, construction and commissioning and start-up.

- Maintain a strategic focus on the project by frequent interaction with the business leaders and client to ensure a balance between the immediate project needs and the long-term goals of the company.

- Participate in Proposal and Project Kick-off Meetings as required. Ensure that the right deliverable is developed and delivered to meet company's quality standard, and client contractual requirements.

- Review objectives, reporting status to management and customer on a regular basis.

- Lead weekly Project Meetings with all delivery and program managers. Review and verify project estimate monthly.

- Recommend new processes where needed to improve quality, cost & on-time delivery.

- Utilize project management methodologies, systems & tools as defined by Company/ customer.

- Lead Project team and facilitate the communication and interaction among the various stakeholders Track project against its schedule, budget and quality for different stage gates.

- Prepare periodic management and/or customer reports and presentations.

Desired Profile:

- B. Tech /M. Tech or equivalent in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or related engineering discipline, from reputed Institutes/Universities.

- Requires 18-25 years of experience in the Project Management functions of reputed Engineering Consultants.

- Working experience in the Project Management capacity of the industries is essential.

- Upstream and downstream experience in FMGC is desired. Downstream FMCG experience will be an added advantage.

- PMP or other equivalent certification would be an added advantage.
