Delivery Head - Cloud - IT

- Responsible for Cloud Application and Infrastructure management

- Responsible for growth and customer relationship in all Cloud transformation or engagement led accounts

- Responsible for defining the Cloud strategy specific to the client needs

- Responsible for leading Cloud Architects and delivery teams

- Provides thought leadership to customers or customer groups on specific or general challenges/ issues specific to the Cloud Migration, transformation or business impact

- Enables direction of competency development and creation of new services/ offerings/ skills in the Cloud domain.

- Oversee Vendor agnostic tools, offerings, framework and solutions in the Cloud roadmap

- Responsible for the P&L of the Cloud delivery and achieving profitable Revenue growth

- Contribute to pre-sales efforts including RFP responses and provide expertise to technical solution teams.

- Demonstrates thought leadership on various facets of management - client care, delivery performance, technology application, people care etc.

- Forecasts accurately resource, skill and infrastructure needs. Plans and provides inputs on capacity, resource, finance, etc. into organizational planning process and provide periodic inputs on resource utilization, forecasting for governing purposes

- Drives and demonstrates innovation and value-addition to clients resulting in Service Excellence Innovation Score

- Leads, collaborates, and communicates architectural vision to architecture, development, and executive teams

- Work with Development Managers, Program Managers, Architects, Software Engineers as well as identify and mentor critical engineering talent and technical leaders

- Understanding of application design principles, practices, system development methodologies, and software life cycles with experience in a combination of system and application architectures.

- Strong communication & customer interfacing skills for effective CXO-level interaction.

- Strong conflict resolution and collaboration skills cutting across domain and technology teams.

Key Skills and Competencies

- Exposure to Cloud Architecture consulting, Cloud Management & Operations, Cloud Migration & Integration, Cloud Security, Cloud Tools, frameworks and accelerators, Reference Architectures and Cloud Migration frameworks

- Solid knowledge of developing cloud reference architecture and technology roadmaps for solutions across public private and hybrid delivery models.

- The incumbent must have a prior experience in Cloud Application delivery methodology including DevOps, Agile etc.

- Delivering solutions involving one or more cloud service providers including Amazon AWS Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud as well as Cloud Foundry private cloud implementation

- Exposure to full-stack development using technologies such as PHP, Ruby, NodeJS, Python, and/or Java

- Working knowledge of development tools and practices such as Git, Jenkins, Test Driven Development, StatsD

- Working knowledge of Docker, AngularJS, WebSockets and NoSQL datastores such as Riak, Redis, Couchbase, Firebase, MongoDB

- Exposure to development using Pivotal; lifecycle monitoring and application performance management using tools such as ELK, Splunk, AppDynamics, New Relic; Cloud assessment using Racemi etc.

- Delivering public private and hybrid cloud solutions across IaaS PaaS and SaaS cloud providers.

- Understanding of Cloud Infrastructure and architecture is a major plus

- The incumbent should have a strong domain knowledge and experience in building Cloud Native Apps, Refactoring, Rehosting and the underlying estimation and processes.

- Should have thorough knowledge on the Cloud penetration strategies as per the customer's cloud adoption maturity

- Effective communicator, Proactive planner with strong analytical, problem solving and organizational abilities. Strong communication and client facing consultative skills

- Should be well versed with client management and escalation management.

- Quick learner with an ability to scale up and flexible on work timings

- Assertive and solution-oriented with an ability to meet strict timelines

- Track-record of pro-active delivery management for large clients in a global delivery model
