Role: Delivery Director - Application Development (Agile)

Location Chennai / Pune

Job Roles / Responsibilities:

- Program Director is expected to have overall experience spanning all aspects of software development with an in-depth understanding of managing large strategic Application Development (AD)programs. Experience in managing deliveries with cross-functional teams in a multi-location organization is required. Experience with Agile methodologies is preferable.

- Working closely with the senior level IT and Business stakeholders and other team members to understand expected program outcomes and suggesting effective delivery processes to enable these outcomes

- Program planning for delivery that includes Infrastructure, Development and Quality Assurance

- Ensure and facilitate Seamless Workflow & Effective Communication across different Business Functions, Cross Functional Teams in various Geographic Locations

- Ensure Estimations & Schedules are managed and communicated

- Create, Maintain and Manage Program Plans and Estimates

- Ensure adequate Resource allocation / loading / offloading / rotation / training /travel plans

- Process monitoring and adherence status reports, minutes of meetings, sign-off on gates, traceability matrix

- Identify potential risks, management of issues, escalations

- Monitor Process Adherence, Obtain Required Sign-offs, Facilitate Communication between Stake Holders

Desired Skills & Experience:

- 15+ years of total work experience out of which at least 3 years of experience in Program Management.

- Effective communicator and ability to network with multidisciplinary stakeholders Successful candidates will be passionate about large scale Application Development & would have worked at the intersection of different disciplines.

- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgmP). Certified Agile Scrum Master/ Practitioner is a plus
