- Planning and Designing workforce plans in in alignment with Business Plans
- Handling End to End blue-collar / bulk recruitment for the area of responsibility
- Develop and manage manpower contractual service providers / partners as well as alternate sources of fulfilling staffing mandates
- Ensure 100% vendor compliance for the region w.r.t. PF / ESIC, APL, ID Cards etc
- Manage Absenteeism, retention, labour issues / queries / grievances etc
Own and track key hiring metrics for measuring efficiency of hiring at regular time intervals (TAT, Source Utilization, Requisition Vs Hired, Cost of Hire & Quality of Hire, Gender diversity); analysing hiring gaps and designing hiring guidelines to get desired quality and cost
- Implementation of Learning & Development and engagement initiatives as per plan
Desired Candidate:
- 6+ years of experience in logistics / e-commerce / retail / staffing industries
Excellent communication, interpersonal and partnering skills
Outstanding negotiation & influencing skills:
- In depth understanding of Labour laws, court proceedings and various acts, with hands on experience in handling complex employment / labour issues
- Ability to connect with various business stakeholders and provide strategic foresight and support on HR service delivery
- Exposure to good employee relations practices and ability to manage a large contractual workforce in addition to payroll employees will be desired.
