Delhivery - Lead Analyst/Senior Analyst - Analytics & BI Team - Customer Experience Team

About the role

We are looking for Lead Analyst/Senior analysts for the Analytics & BI team for the Customer Experience team. An ideal candidate would be able to combine great business acumen along with analytics understanding to present a true and complete picture of the experience that our customers are having while interacting with the company.

Looking for candidates who are excited to cut through tons of data to generate insights. They should not be afraid of ambiguity and can quickly cut through the fog to get to the right question. They can iterate quickly and explore various approaches that can answer the question. They need to work closely with the Service, Product, and Process Engineering teams to jointly identify and solve critical business issues.

We are a fast-paced team, and expect quick turnarounds. Most of the problems we work on are ambiguous, and handling ambiguous problem statements and expectations is a key part of the role.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Identifying and understanding problems across the business that can be solved using data and analytics

- Formulating and translating business problems in a way that can be solved using data - Explore data, build hypotheses, build models and solve problems

- Communicating results of models and analyses in a way that can be easily understood by senior management

- Supporting Service and Process teams in their work by providing accurate and timely data for their action

- Everyone in the analytics and BI team is hands-on and writes code and cleans data, and the same is expected of the person in this role

Key requirements:

- A passion for data and analytics and a bias towards action

- Common sense, and an appreciation of common logical fallacies

- Strong mathematics and logic skills

- Strong written, oral and visual communication skills

- Very strong in either Python or R, and MS Excel
