Delhivery - Director - Operations - Last Mile

Reports to - Snr Director/ VP (Operations)

Key Responsibilities:

- Includes securing appropriate resources (people, equipment etc.) and implementing current processes, system and controls to achieve the results within the appropriate business environment.

- Achieve the business & service goals for a large and multi- functional operation in North-East region, whilst ensuring compliance with Delhivery standards and State-regulatory requirements.

- Handle significant operations in two or more States with different legislative, business and cultural settings. Also, responsible for a large and complex operation including multiple functions i.e. aspects of linehaul (road & air), Returns, First Mile, Delhivery Service Partners.

- Drives optimum profitability for the NE region by initiating, developing and implementing revenue generation and cost reduction initiatives, includes supporting Sales (Business Development) Team and implementing productivity enhancements and cost reduction methods. Qualifications:

- Candidate should be from Northeast India.

. At least 5-6 years of progressive work-experience in Supply chain, 3PL Logistics/Freight Forwarding industry with leading companies in FMCG, Pharma or Armed forces (SSC).

- Acquaintance with regions Geography, Culture and Labor market.

- Candidate will be a self-starter with an innate ability to engage with people from various walks of life.

- Candidate must exhibit high emotional stability in a demanding; high growth environment.
