Director - Network & Cyber Security
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for strategy cybersecurity defence for the OSI layer: Physical, Data, Transport, Network, Transport, and Session.
- Responsible for Cybersecurity defence for End Points, Networking Equipment, DLP, Antivirus, EDR, encryption etc.
- Ensure that ancillary processes (3rd Party risk, assessments) reflect control requirements.
- Influence vendor and application selection by applying ISF (Information Security Forum) to manage current and future GRC (Governance, Risk Management and Compliance) objectives.
- Review and facilitate approval for all policies and security awareness initiatives.
- Lead Cyber Security Incident response plan, BCP - Plan for critical services.
- Responsible for authorizing 3rd party software, patch management, etc.
- Responsible for developing a security roadmap for the organization.
- Establish SOC 1 and 2.
- Manage Gsuit (Email DLP, CAA and Email Security.)
Network Design & Implementation:- Analyse business requirements to develop technical network solutions and their framework.
- Perform network modelling, analysis, planning, and developing technology roadmaps
- Design and implement network security strategy, including cloud enablement and establishing next-generation routers, firewall features and capabilities
- Designs and oversees virtual networks deployed in Azure and IBM SoftLayer cloud.
- Responsible for designing and maintaining networks, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), software-defined networks, virtual private networks (VPNs), wireless networks, and other data and voice communications systems.
Network Compliance:- Company Network and Infrastructure systems conform to company Security policies and procedures
- Create new procedures in compliance with ISO standards
- Drive network security efficiency & standards improvement
Network Security and Firewall:
- Design and Implement security profile inside the firewall based on the App-IDs, Used-ID, content-Id, Malware block, IPS etc
- Implement and manage NGFWs (Palo Alto Networks, Cisco & Checkpoint), IDS/IPS, WIPS, NAC, security monitoring and network compliance solutions.
- Implement, manage and monitor the Radius solution for controlling the access to WIFI, LAN and Remote VPN
Frame Work:- Follow the international framework designed to standardize the selection, planning, delivery and maintenance of IT services within a business.
Technical Support:- Perform complex tasks on critical infrastructure upgrades, security projects and infrastructure enhancements.
- Provide escalation point in enhancing and troubleshooting network, routing and security problems
Wireless Technology:- Develop wireless network infrastructures and make recommendations on systems enhancements for optimization.
- Demonstrated experience utilizing WiFi analysers, Wi-Fi survey software tools, Voice
Technology
Strategical and Dive Deep:- Strategic planning (medium and long term) based on company objectives to keep in line with new developments in IT.
- Research new technology to determine what would best support their organization in the future.
- Dive Deep into problems and derive detailed RCA and Action Items
People Management:- Build the team, optimising talents and growing individuals
- Manage the performance of the team
- Develop and maintain teamwork among all teams, promoting the sharing of ideas and best practice
Qualifications and Skills:- Experience in internal audit such as ITGC, ISO 27001, SOC2, Data privacy.
- Experience in managing projects to fulfill audit requirements and compliance.
- Certifications: CIPM, PMP, CCIE, CCNA, CCNP, or similar.
- Experience of project management tools.
- At least 5 to 6 plus years of experience in managing audits, compliance, security tools end to end.
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- An excellent written and verbal communicator with strong presentation skills.
- Adaptable and resilient when facing change, pressure, and challenges
- A fast learner who can understand new technology and concepts quickly.
