We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our finance team as a Controller. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls, with a passion for the agricultural sector. This role is crucial for ensuring the financial integrity and compliance of our operations, driving financial performance, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage all aspects of the accounting and financial reporting processes.

- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.

- Develop, implement, and maintain effective internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior management.

- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.

- Coordinate and manage external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.

- Support tax planning and compliance activities, including the preparation and filing of tax returns.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and optimize financial operations.

- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

Qualifications:

- Qualified CA with minimum 10 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls

- Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

- Proven track record of managing complex financial processes and delivering accurate financial reports.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Strong leadership and team management abilities.

- Proficient in financial software and ERP systems.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
