General Summary :
- The Decision Science Manager is responsible for developing new and analyzing existing business strategies within the department as a creative and analytical problem solver, capable of constructing effective analytical approaches to complex, quantitative business problems and generating data-supported solutions.
- The position participates in defining the strategy for a team in a department and can independently manage meaningful projects and workstreams within that strategy.
Principal Responsibilities :
- Identify and implement new business strategies to improve profitability and ways to improve business processes.
- Define and execute analytical approach to solving complex business problems through data extraction and analysis.
- Perform business/financial modeling, forecasting and budgeting.
- Develop and coach direct report(s) and other analytical resources on cross-functional teams.
- Define reporting needs and monitor report to understand trends, issues and opportunities.
Skills & Experience:
- Master's Degree in Finance, Bachelor’s Degree in quantitative/analytical field.
- 3-5 years business experience in a related field (preferably from ARCs)
- 2+ years experience using SAS or SQL.
- Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.
