Decision Resources Group - Technical Manager

Decision Resources Group is looking for an experienced, passionate, and highly motivated development team lead to join our India team. The Custom Development Team Manager is responsible for ensuring the success of support and development projects within the Custom Development team. He or she will work closely with technical leads and business sponsors to refine and document requirements, manage priorities, define timelines, and ensure that projects remain on schedule, solving issues and supporting the development. The ideal candidate for this role is comfortable working in a fast-paced and challenging environment to address the complex needs of high exposure projects.

The position will be based in Bangalore, India, with some travel to other DRG locations.

Responsibilities include:

- Consult with Client Project Managers, UI Designers, Developers, QA, and other stakeholders to define features and scope.

- Analyze specifications, and requirements to design products and enhancements

- Write code to meet design specs and requirements

- Test, debug, and document coding changes

- Coordinate with other technical teams and business teams

- Ensure the continuing operation of client-facing software applications

- Coordination, execution, control, and reporting of operations projects

- Keep informed and trained in advances in relevant technologies and methodologies

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Minimum Bachelor's degree required

- 10+ years of relevant experience in software development including an Agile software development environment

- Experience with Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, HTML5

- Dedication and commitment to client satisfaction and delivering quality

- Strong time management, organization and communication skills

Optional Skills:

- Experience operating in a lead role is preferred

- Experience with PostgreSQL

- Knowledge of the AWS environment

- Exposure to the healthcare/pharmaceutical industry
