Decathlon - Internal Audit Role - CA

ROLE : To collaborate with finance teams and management as well as external auditors to effectively evaluate and manage risk factors and processes in line with the strategies defined by the Business Units in diverse activities ranging from goods production to retailing.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Contribute to scoping, execution and delivery of statutory and group audits in collaboration with all the teams involved

- Develop an understanding of the function to be audited and use business knowledge, analytical skills and experience in identifying findings and improvements

- Perform ad-hoc internal audits to identify risks and report these to the respective internal stakeholders.

- Provide ongoing progress reports and updates of audit findings

- Participate in projects as required

- Ensure Internal Financial Controls and Compliance

- Stay abreast of new audit developments

- Build strong partnerships with Finance teams

- Develop relationships with the group consolidation team to ensure compliance with group norms while respecting local norms

- Facilitate implementation of Ind AS and IFRS when changes arise

- Identify and communicate opportunities to improve controls and financial and operational processes

REQUIREMENTS :

- Educational qualification: CA Only

- 3 -5 years of post qualification experience in Audit

- Collaborative approach

- Curiosity to continuously learn and improve processes and compliance

- Strong verbal and written communication along with active listening, critical thinking and organization skills

- Strong analytical skills to understand, organize, evaluate diverse information and discern and address the root cause of issues

- Open-minded, agile, capable to adapt to changing and demanding environment

- Must have good initiative, able to set and attain goals, meet deadlines, multi-task, and cope well with non-structured assignments
