Entrepreneur in Residence (Strategic Initiatives) Decadenz Brief : - Built by a team of ex BCG Management consultants, Decadenz is a fast growing early stage startup building a Challenger brand in the Indulgence space with its range of category creating Chocolate and Snacking products. - Live across 8 locations in Delhi NCR (with more in the pipeline), we are pioneering a Micromarket-driven, Digital first distribution & brand penetration model. Job Description : - Looking for the quintessential intrapreneur to join Decadenz as early as it gets as we plan to pursue strategic product and distribution initiatives. - EIR will be individually accountable and responsible for executing the workstreams on all new product launches & early growth 1) New Product strategy : Market research, global benchmarking, End to end Product SKU definition, Revenue target definition 2) Vendor development : Develop equipment and packaging vendors for new SKUs and negotiate commercial terms & timelines. 3) Packaging development : Coordinate with design agency for quality and timely output in line with the brand identity and defined formats 4) Contract Manufacturing setup : Coordinate with manufacturing partner for equipment selection & installations, trial runs, and SOP training. 5) Distribution alliances : Build, negotiate and operationalize distribution alliances with offline distributors, online retailers and alternate channel partners 6) Synergy extraction : Explore and execute on potential synergies on distribution & manufacturing with existing product & distribution lines on a continual basis. 7) Team Building from scratch : Hire team of Associate (s) and Intern (s) to assist with the defined workstreams, and train team on defined processes. - All in all everything that would be expected from a 0 to 1 entrepreneur- a lot of hustling, hacking, running around and making team run around, and juggle multiple moving parts all at once- a process oriented approach to give method to the madness will be prime for successful execution of the roles & responsibilities. - Kindly do apply only if you get pumped being one of the earliest owners to the action inside a consumer rocket ship. Requirements : - Educational qualifications no bar, 2-5 years of relevant prior experience ideal - Special preference for candidates with past experience with FMCG startups/ end to end Product development/ Business development roles at FMCG brands. - Ex-entrepreneurs who have taken a shot at the F&B industry/ FMCG industry and want to give it another try are most welcome. Compensation : CTC : INR 6-10L per annum + attractive ESOPs. - This role is based out of Gurgaon.
