Dean for Project Management

Reporting to : Senior Vice President - Corporate HR

Location : Vadodara

Education : PhD (For those who have led large projects for over 7 years, BE/B.Tech with MBA can be considered)

Technical qualification : Teaching in Project Management

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop the budget and implement it to meet the goals of IPM

- Maintain relationships with ICs

- Plan for courses to align with the needs of ICs

- Develop interest in ICs so that adequate nominations flow in

- Develop and maintain a pool of faculty

- Ensure a motivated team

- Maintain relationship with educational institutions and with Industry bodies For eg - PMI and PMA

- Teaching Project Management (for practicing managers should have taught employees in MDPs)

- Management experience/Domain knowledge

- Research work and papers published

- Case study writing

- Leadership and strategic thinking

- Relationship building

- Commercial acumen

- Ability to bridge the world of business with the academic world
