Roles & Responsibilities : - This position will be the overall In charge of the Institute. - Will be responsible for the complete Academic Planning. - Has to ensure the delivery of the Department's contribution to University and Faculty strategic plans. - Ensuring effective representation of the Department's interests within and outside the University. - This position will be responsible for the management of staff of the Department, including (i) training, development and career management and (ii) day-to-day matters. - Candidate should have a credible track record of high-quality academic work . - Liaison for affiliation, liaison with other regulatory bodies. - Candidate should have familiarity with the administrative and management systems of the University. - Should have an ability to set and communicate clear vision and expectations for departmental and individual performances. - Mentoring of faculty members and students. Qualifications: - Education- Masters in Design (Mandatory) - Ph.D. in Design (Preferred) - Experience: 10-15 Years {Preferably from Education Industry.
