Dean /Centre Head/ Principal

Position : Dean

- The candidate should have a Doctoral degree in Pharma, Social Science, Health and Hospital with minimum 15 years of experience and be a full time professor at reputed academic Institute/ university for at least 5 years.

- Should preferably holding /have held the post of Principal /HOD/Dean of a reputed academic Institution with research and publication record. The candidates should be preferably below 50 years of age.

Skills and desirable :

- The University is looking for an outstanding leader for the position of Dean who can enhance its image and take the Schools to world class standards in areas of teaching, research and training by building the strong foundation and brand image. The incumbent is to be expected to be an eminent academician with demonstrated leadership skills.

Role of Dean :

Research :

- Conceptualize, plan, design and conduct research.

- Write and motivate peer group to write proposals for grants research projects and supervise data collection, analysis and prepare report.

- Network and liaison with the donor and funding agencies.

- Dissemination of research findings

- Distinguish school/ institution as an unrivaled benchmark in field of research.

Academic :

- Teaching Courses.

- Arrange faculty to teach the courses.

- Monitors the progress towards the School's strategic plan, leading the faculty and/or administrators to adjust the plan as needed and appropriate

- The Dean is responsible to plan, design pedagogy, develop course material, teach, and evaluate students.

- Will responsible to update the course material as per industry norms

Training :

- Plan, design, coordinate and organize training/management development programme in respective areas.

Academic Administrative supervision & Direction :

- Will arrange meeting of Board of studies, participate in Academic Council and Board of Management meeting as and when require

- Will supervise examination process at school level

- Will supervise marketing process at school level

- Directions to prepare school academic calendar.

- Will supervise the admission process of students at school level.

- Will issue necessary directions for implementation of the ordinances and other decisions.

- Will Plan expansion of academic programmes.

- Will supervise Alumni affairs of the school.

- Annual appraisal of the school faculty and staff

- To supervise day to day admin activities of the school

- Will coordinate for placement of the students

- Participates in the university activities as a part of decentralized management

- Networking with the relevant areas and clients

- Nurturing junior colleagues in the school

Revenue generation and strategic plan :

- Prepare strategic plans ad budget for the respective school/Institute for Research Projects, Trainings and admissions.

- Will work for National / International Collaborations.

- Will facilitate the Consultancy work in the school
