Senior Manager - Content & Social Media Marketing
What you'll be doing:
- Design and implement a social media strategy to align with business goals
- Set specific objectives and report on ROI for social media acquisitions and engagement
- Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news on Whatsapp and telegram channels)
- Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales and customer success to ensure brand consistency
- Communicate with followers
- Oversee social media accounts- design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout)
- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, SEO, and marketing
- Write clear and compelling copy to describe DealShare's services tailored to the appropriate target customer segments and user personas
- Propose A/B tests for messaging and community engagement
- Work closely with the customer success team to identify the key points of frustration or confusion for users and propose solutions
- Help conduct competitive research to identify our strong and weak points along with customer insights team
- Apply SEO principles where necessary to maximize reach to our target audience
Requirements:
- Possesses knowledge and experience in the tenets of traditional marketing. Marketing degree is welcomed but not required with relevant work experience
- Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in social media. (Give links to profiles as examples)
- Proficient in content marketing theory and application
- Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing
- Exhibits the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side, able to demonstrate why their ideas are analytically sound
- Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios
- Maintaining excellent writing and language skills is a must.
- Enjoys a working knowledge of the blogging ecosystem relevant to the company's field
- Displays ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written, audio and video format
- Maintains a working knowledge of principles of SEO including keyword research
