Person will be responsible for HR and IR for 1000+ manpower at plant location and work closely with leadership team to manage plant HR activities.
Strategic Initiatives:
- Formulate and advise management on IR strategy for smooth IR operations in the plant
- Drive and implement strategic initiatives and process improvement projects
Human Resource:
- Manage activities across entire lifecycle of employees
- Digitize/automate HR processes and policies to speed up the HR processes
Availability of skilled work force:
- Introduce initiatives to address manpower shortage issue at plant location
- Guide the Plant teams in enhancing the skill level of work force
Compliance:
- Guide the Plant team and ensure compliance of legal, statutory, regulatory requirements
- Ensure validity of all licenses and certificates (Statutory, Legal and other requirements)
- Ensure smooth liaisioning with all government officials / offices
Harmonious Industrial Relations:
- Maintain harmonious industrial relations climate in the unionised plant through a robust grievance handling process
- Ensure the smooth flow of disputes management (Disciplinary actions for internal issues, follow and closure)
- Ensure all eligible employees are availing the welfare benefits
- Lead the LTS process from Counter demands to signing of settlement
Shop Floor Discipline and Grievance Handling:
- Periodically review the Shop floor discipline (Status of ID issues, Actions Taken, Closures)
- Ensure the Process for Grievance reporting and closure
Job Specifications:
- MSW (Full Time)
- 15-20 years of experience in a plant HR role in manufacturing industry
- Expertise in HR and IR laws
- Should have managed settlements, agreements, IR issues including strike
- Deal with local people and liaison with government officials.
- Should be able to read, speak and write Gujarati
