Key Accountabilities : - End to end Payroll and post payroll processing/activities, year-end tax activities &amp; Regulatory returns (RBI, Statutory (Payroll and Establishment compliances) - Financial Accounting for HRSS (GLAO) - Retirals Administration - Statutory Compliances (Labour &amp; Establishment Compliances) - MIS Reporting - Vendor Management (Payroll, Compliance and related vendors) Job Duties &amp; responsibilities : Payroll, Off-boarding &amp; Year End Tax Activities: - Manage the monthly payroll processing for staff and trainees in co-ordination with the payroll vendors. Ensure 100% accuracy in considering the inputs &amp; timeline adherence. - Responsible for end-to-end exit formalities and final settlements for resigned employees. - Year end tax proofs submission activity &amp; Timely issuance of tax certificates to employees and act as a point of contact for tax related queries - End to end retiral benefit management - Gratuity and assistance on Provident Fund (Excluded and Unexempted) Financial Accounting for HRSS (GLAO) : - Posting GL Entries for all HR Accounts and perform timely OTT Reconciliation - Partner with Finance team and ensure that there are no breaks in suspense accounts Retirals Adminstration : - End to End Management of PF &amp; Gratuity Trust (Contribution remittance, assisting employees on transactions (transfers/withdrawals), Audits etc) Regulatory Returns : - Ensure all statutory and regulatory returns like Income Tax, RBI, Profession Tax, Provident Fund &amp; Employment Exchange and all statutory returns (payroll, labour and establishment compliances) have timely complied with 100% accuracy - Partner with the Payroll/ Compliance vendor and ensure that regulatory payments are deposited on time and the challans are on place MIS Reporting : - Budget preparation and monitoring - Monthly head count reporting to various divisions - CRESA, L&amp;C, Finance - Payroll, Regulatory and compliance dashboard - End to end HRSS financial provisioning to finance (viz: LTA, T&amp;I, vendor payment, etc) Life Cycle Management : - Managing the HR HelpDesk by acting as a 2nd level contact point for complex HRSS queries - Ensure Staff personal files have all the relevant documents and perform regular audits Ensure Vendor invoices are processed on time as per the agreed SLA- s Required Experience : Min 8-10 years of HR Operations experience, preferably with a Multinational bank or financial institution into end to end payroll processing (including global assignees/expats), Regulatory (RBI, Payroll and Establishment compliances) Education / Preferred Qualifications : - Bachelors or Post graduate HR qualification and evidence of continued professional development. - Professional certification - (Certificate or Diploma course in labour laws) - Lean/Six Sigma Certification (Not mandatory) - QMS Certifications (Preferable) Core Competencies : - In depth knowledge of banks HR &amp; employee related policies - Payroll, Statutory and regulatory compliance knowledge - Indian and International Payroll basic taxation knowledge &amp; payroll processing work exposure - Experience in RSUs/ESOP tax treatment - Service Excellence &amp; Delivery management - Excellent communication skills dealing with multiple stakeholders Technical Competencies : - Computer proficiency - Strong Ms. Office skills desired - Exposure to payroll tools, ERP's (Preferred experience into Workday and ADP)
