Business Function : 

Risk Management Group works closely with our business partners to manage the bank's risk exposure by balancing its objective to maximise returns against an acceptable risk profile. We partner with origination teams to provide financing, investments and hedging opportunities to our customers. To manage risk effectively and run a successful business, we invest significantly in our people and infrastructure.

Job Purpose: : 

Assist in managing the Credit Central Office to provide effective control environment and robust reporting support to the Credit Risk function.

Major Responsibilities: : 

1. Owner of Credit Risk related policies - Candidate will set up India specific policies and process notes in co-ordination with stakeholders and ensure timely updation and renewals

2. Credit Risk Audit & RBI inspections : Candidate will be the SPOC for RBI inspections and internal audit and would be responsible for handling qualitative queries regarding credit policies and processes

3. Portfolio stress testing & reviews in response to external risk events.

4. Be the SPOC for Risk Control Self-Assessment and other Risk management issues for the Credit Risk team

5. Help in running risk committees by preparing agenda and minutes along with relevant appendices

Key Accountabilities:

1. Credit Risk Committee, Risk Exco, IMC, GCRC, BRMC, etc.

2. Managing reporting functions as per regulatory and internal requirements and submission to the Head Office on all Credit Risk related matters.

3. Portfolio Risk Analytics through Credit Stress tests/ Portfolio reviews/ Scenario analysis etc.

4. Help and co-ordinate for drafting new credit related policies/ standards/ guides and renewing them within due dates.

5. Help in bringing out Industry papers in consultation with CRMs.

6. Manage end to end audit process and RBI inspections as the SPOC for Credit

7. Risk including co-ordination with relevant stakeholders, submission of responses and ensuring timely closure of action

Job Duties & responsibilities

1. Work in co-ordination with GPA on preparation of Portfolio reports and various MIS including India Credit Risk Committee and Risk Exco pack.

2. Co-ordination, collation and drawing credit inferences and monitoring action plans arising from Credit Stress tests/ Portfolio reviews/ Scenario analysis.

3. Updation of RBS Tranche II & Tranche III data to RBI, Certification of regulatory compliances.

4. Assist Credit COO in collating and providing various details to Auditors and Regulatory inspectors.

5. Help in Credit Projects / Other Business Driven initiatives.

Experience:

- 8-10 years of work experience.

- Professional qualification, graduate or post graduate degree, preferably in business, accountancy, economics, finance etc.
