We have an excellent opportunity with the bank for the role of AVP - Sales, Global Transaction Services;

Job Details are as follows -

Job Purpose

- To directly grow the liabilities portfolio (operating current accounts and structured cash management sales including electronic banking sales) through new client acquisitions and organic growth of existing portfolio.

- To grow & support Trade portfolio (Traditional (LC, BG, discounting) + Open account (Factoring, Supply chain)

Key Accountabilities -

- Drive Liabilities Sales by NTB (New To Bank) acquisition of Liability clients for operating current accounts and other cash management products including electronic banking sales in line with the targets set out.

- Manage relationships of existing clients to deepen their wallet share & ensure regular client meetings to be to win client trust and business. To ensure quick implementation of the wins for fast realization of revenues.

- Support Team Leaders in implementing liabilities strategy and meeting revenue budgets. To ensure that all client communication (client presentations/offer letters, etc) are of the highest standard.

- Support Team Leaders in identifying and focusing on appropriate market segments. This includes analysis of key requirements for different identified market segments (through client discussions) and positioning DBS Cash Management offering to meet client requirements. To support commercialization of Cash Management Product roll outs which cater to the needs of the identified client segments.

- Ability to sell Trade products (Traditional (LC, discounting) + Open account (Factoring, Supply chain) will be an added advantage

Experience

- Good understanding of the sales process with prior Cash management sales experience of 5-7 years

- Through knowledge of traditional and latest Cash Management products

- Market knowledge and experience of selling to Large / Mid-sized corporate segment

Education / Preferred Qualifications

- Post Graduate or equivalent degree (preferably management graduates)

- Computer proficiency (Acquaintance with internet and MS Office)

- Relevant experience of selling Cash Management products to large/mid sized corporate segments

Core Competencies

- Good understanding of the sales process

- Good technical knowledge of cash management products

- Good team worker

- Good customer and relationship management skills.

- Good interpersonal and communications skills.

- Good problem solving, planning & organizing skills. Planning, scheduling and monitoring deliverables, within a stipulated time frame using effective methods

Technical Competencies

- Basic understanding of cash management products and associated technology platforms and operational procedures

- Understanding of regulatory guidelines on banking issued by MAS and by RBI (local regulations in India) and local laws and regulations that impact businesses in general. Understanding of KYC requirements are critical.

- Knowledge of financial markets and products to assist in meaningful dialogue with clients

Work Relationship

- Possess good working relationship and a high degree of team spirit and cooperation with relationship group as well as service partners in the bank such as Product Mgt, Operations, Finance, Legal etc, so as to ensure seamless delivery of products to clients

- Establish rapport with our clients so as to win their business, confidence and trust.
