The role of AGM / DGM - Ad Sales is to increase the top line by ideating and innovating new ways of selling, experiment with new ideas and scale up the same and get ready to graduate to the higher roles.

Responsibilities:

- Study trends in various categories, understand needs and come up with new solutions (to meet the client needs).

- Ideation and innovating around new thoughts and initiative to enhance the revenue.

- Identifying new revenue opportunities in terms of categories of business and clientele.

- Analyze the opportunities in a given geographies and planning initiatives to bridge the gaps.

- Identifying 'big days" opportunities and come up with the new ideas to make them big.

- Understanding client's needs and offering appropriate solutions.

- Experimenting with the new revenue ideas and scaling them up.

- Understanding the impact of the new initiatives, analyzing and coming up with the required corrective actions.

- Hand Holding the Unit teams to implement new thoughts / ideas.

- Develop and maintain long term relationships with new and existing clients and agencies.

- Delivering creative content solutions to help client's brands with maximum outreach against their investment.

- Groom oneself to take the higher responsibilities in future.

Knowledge & Skill Requirement:

- Problem solver, Proactive and ready to take initiative and run with new ideas.

- Attention to details, analytical ability.

- A quick learner, thinker and doer.

- Strong client relationships experience.

- Strong communication skills to gain consensus both internal and external.

- A strong understanding of the regional markets.

- Good sales experience, where the person is need to make the client regularly and pitch them ideas.

- High on result orientation.

- Self-motivated, proactive, strong work ethics.

- Creative seller, a person who can create compelling opportunities for clients and the Company.

- High on Resilience.

Experience: 12-18 years of experience in Retails sales in the Print Media industry or any other industry where the person need to pitch to the SME clients.

Education: MBA preferred.
