A growing Bancassurance channel dominant Life Insurance firm with its HQ in Mumbai and more than 4000 employees across 150+ offices in India is looking for a Tech Project Specialist who would be responsible for co creating, maintaining & enhancing the data solutions framework for the organization. The person will also be responsible for creating & subsequently maintaining cloud data practices & using available cloud services for data & AI for providing solutions to business problems. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Maintain & enhance organization-wide standardized data/information platform to store the data which is accessible and usable with minimum training requirement - Design and implement data models with changing needs of the organization -implement & enhance cloud data management including migration ,development & enhancement of a hybrid multi-cloud strategy - Create robust mechanisms for data influx and outflow for downstream applications - Create & enhance data marts from existing DWH to support business needs not limited to on prem or cloud - Design & monitor data marts which cut through as a data platform for all business needs inclusive of applications & business facing data solutions - Develop mechanisms to monitor health of all BIU servers/instances by co- ordinating with DBA teams - Identify, implement and drive adoption of data management technologies and solutions. - Derive actionable insights from structured & unstructured data . - Periodically assess the relevance of MIS, Data-warehouse and Data governance against business requirement and changing technology landscape, propose solutions when appropriate, and implement agreed solutions. - Maintain & enhance SSAS cubes -tabular & multidimensional for reporting /analysis requirements - Implement data replication strategies ,segregate OLTP against OLAP - Creating comprehensive documentation for BI frameworks viz ERD for data models Job Specifications: Education and Experience - B Tech/B.E. in Computer Science /IT - Minimum 6-7 years of experience - MBA /PGDBM will be good to have Skills/experience on specific applications/soft wares - Expert in Microsoft BI stack, Azure data management suite & services with hands on knowledge of SSIS, SSAS, cube development ,advanced sql coding skills - Exposure to visualization tools like Power BI ,Tableau - Working experience with new age BI tools will be an added advantage General Skills - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple analytical projects / adhoc requests to support business initiatives - Ability to nurture and manage team of high performers & provide leadership in the area of complex data management solutions - High on energy with positive outlook. - Should have technology/analytics orientation and attitude to challenge status-quo. - Strong interpersonal, influencing skills & ability to engage meaningfully with senior business leaders and stakeholders - Excellent written & verbal communication skills including presentation skills
