Data Scientist (Big Data)

Location: Gurgaon

This position involves working with product management and engineering team to understand the product requirements and provide innovative solutions which provide a strong competitive advantage by leveraging Machine Learning

Job Description:

- Work with product mgmt. and engineering teams to understand product requirements

- Conducts advanced data analysis and designs complex predictive algorithm(s) which are scalable

- Develops production code in conjunction with the engineering team which is deployed on large-scale data using in the house big data platform

- Improve algorithms, models and overall solution based on feedback from field and customers

Desired Profile

Educational Qualifications:

- Ph.D. / M.E./M. Tech in CS with strong mathematical foundation

Skill Sets:

- Strong knowledge of machine learning and statistical methods

- Experience in analyzing high volume and high dimensionality data for pattern discovery and hypothesis testing

- Strong experience in creating efficient programs in Python. Exposure to Spark and Scala would be an added advantage

Work Experience:

- 3+ years of experience of which 1 year should be as a data scientist.
