Data Scientist - Risk Management

Responsibilities:

- Documenting data requirements, data collection, data cleaning, and exploratory data analysis using statistical models and data visualization techniques.

- Collating (including websites and writing crawlers) and integrating data from various data sources and form relationships between various data sources to combine them in an accurate and meaningful way.

- Creating frameworks to monitor data quality and ML algorithm performance.

- Understand investment risk statements and challenges and translate it into data science problem to find solution.

- Running Asset Management Risk oriented research projects and models; creation of tools, techniques and practices.

- Liaise with IT to maintain and enhance technical tools including development of the analytics data warehouse.

- Documentation of all efforts put in developing risk project along with its outcome.

Expected Candidate Skills:

- 3+ years of experience as Data Specialist.

- Research oriented attitude with good knowledge of R/Python/PowerBi.

- Knowledge of machine learning techniques such as supervised and un-supervised machine learning, decision trees, logistic regression etc.

- Knowledge of Indian Equity and Fixed Income markets along with operations research, econometrics and predictive analytics is an advantage.

- Relevant experience in Big Data platforms.

- Ability to work with unstructured data.

Educational qualification :

- Post-Graduate with strong focus on statistics and coding.
