Data Scientist - NBFC

We have an opening for Data Scientist with a Leading NBFC.

Location: Bangalore / Mumbai

Roles and responsibilities:

- Work with stakeholders across product management, data science, and engineering to build relationships with the partner teams and drive implementation of risk strategies Work on high impact risk solutions across credit risk (underwriting, exposure controls, and line management)

- Manage difficult time restrictions to ensure project delivery on schedule.

- Collaborate closely with partner teams to find, assess, and provide new data that aids in risk distinction.

- Analyze loss trends and model risk decisioning techniques to increase income and approval rates, among other things.

- develops presentations that assist the executive team articulate the risk strategy by combining analysis.

Background:

- Background in mathematics, statistics, economics, business, or comparable quantitative fields.

- 2 - 9 years of expertise in database query language (e.g., SQL and Python) analysis and data analysis

- Work experience and knowledge of more than one of these domains is a plus: Risk Analytics, Credit Risk, Portfolio Analytics, and/or Lending Business.
