Education: BE, BTech, MTech or MS

Experience: 3 - 8 years

Location: Chennai

JOB PURPOSE:

Data Scientist responsibilities include Identify, develop and implement the appropriate statistical techniques, algorithms and data mining analysis to create new, scalable solutions that address business challenges across the organization, as well as provide actionable insights with a clear impact on ROI.

KEY ACTIVITIES:

- Develop data-driven insights & solutions with advanced analytics (machine learning, deep learning and statistical models) to extract insights from large proprietary agronomic data sources.

- Understanding the business problem and translating into an analytical problem;Coming up with an analytical solution and documenting.

- Advanced knowledge of statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, data mining, text mining.

- Expert proficiency in a structured programming language is a must - experience in at least one statistical/general purpose scripting languages like R or Python is mandatory.
