One of our IT Product Development in Bangalore is looking for Data Scientist. Please find the JD below. Work location is Bangalore.

- ML, Deep Learning

- AI and NLP - good to have

- Big Data experience, Databases, Distributed Programming - Java and Scala

- Work experience beyond POC (Proof of concepts) - basically who have put their ideas / models to production environment

- Preparing various models - Regression, Classification and Clustering

Summary overview of responsibilities :

The Research, Innovation & Ventures team at Amadeus Labs works in Analytics research, prototyping and evangelizing innovation. The person will be a part of this Agile team having a start-up-like culture. Your role would be that of a Data Scientist for the Analysis and Research team. Key qualities required for the role:

- Proven ability in Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, Machine Learning and operational research areas

- Experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP), specifically in building conversational interfaces(NLU frameworks and libraries)

- Deep Technical knowledge on Big Data Stack and Scalable Architectures

- Ability to manage activities and initiatives in the area of Data Analysis and Research

- Have good understanding of web/enterprise product Architectures

- Really good with analytical skills with high levels of curiosity

- Ability to learn new technologies and implement quickly

- Have a high sense of thought leadership and product ownership

Major responsibilities :

- Work with product managers and business analysts to identify business requirements and translate them into data science requirements and project tasks.

- Create Models & prototypes involving improving or building estimation / forecasting / optimization models in RIV projects.

- Build conversational Interfaces/solutions in Airline domain. High focus on building, training & using new and existing Natural Language Understanding(NLU) frameworks and libraries

- Develop solutions for Natural Language Processing(NLP) problems like Classification, Language modelling, translation etc

- Work with the development team to put these models into production satisfying all functional and quality requirements and be responsible for those product modules. Participate in product development directly if required.

- Set up pipelines and processes to monitor and diagnose quality issues with the data processing and models.

- Build visualizations / dashboards / presentations to communicate to internal and external stakeholders the methodology, results and business impact of every deliverable.

- Be responsible for their own development, on Data Science skills, tools, and business knowledge. They will be supported by other Data Scientists within the Amadeus organization.

- Be prepared to work on a variety of technical areas. Be willing to learn new programming languages / tools / technologies as required, such as Spark, Scala, Java.

- The data scientist will need to develop their business knowledge in the airline domain.
