Data Scientist - Consulting Firm

EDGE is assisting a top-tier global consulting firm to identify a Data Science professional for a client facing role.

- As a principal Data Scientist, you will work on complex business cases across a variety of industries using cutting edge Data Analytics and methods to solve business problems and create strategies at a global level.

- This will involve leading a team on projects and interacting directly with clients.

- You must be a PhD or masters in a data centric discipline such as Computer Science/Maths/Statistics/Actuarial Science etc., from a premier institution with at least 10 years- experience in applying analytical methods to business issues.

- Core experience in using advanced analysis to distil complex data and knowledge in areas like machine learning and modern development tools will be essential.

- Strong knowledge of a scripting language such as R and Python is required. A past background in programming would be an asset.

- You must be a strong and effective communicator who can convey complex concepts and solutions in a simple manner.

- A natural inquisitiveness and an action-oriented outlook would be excellent personality traits to have, for this role.

- The position will be located at a major metro city and will involve a significant amount of travelling.
