The Company :
Our client is an iconic media company providing wholesome entertainment through air, online, on ground, in shop and through its cinema.
The Role :
Based out of Mumbai, you will responsible to do hands on work to enhance the business portfolio for the client.
Some of your responsibilities would be :
- Be proactive and entrepreneurial in identifying new problems that can be solved through analytics
- Build intelligent systems such as recommendation engines to leverage the large amount of data
- Develop analytical models to solve business problems
- Use statistical techniques like segmentation and clustering to target the audience effectively
- Assist in identifying techniques and technology requirements to develop capabilities
The Successful Applicant :
- Masters or PhD degree in engineering, math, statistics or relevant quantitative discipline
- 4 to 7 years of experience in advanced analytics predictive analytics, statistical analytics, clustering, segmentation
- Proficiency in statistical programming tools (eg. R, SPSS, SAS) is a must
- Experience with big data platforms and tools (eg. Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, Pig, Cassandra, Storm) is preferred but not mandatory
- Working knowledge of digital analytics tools like Site Catalyst, Web trends, Google analytics, Omniture is desired but not mandatory
- An excellent problem solver with research oriented approach
