Data Science & Analytics Role - BFSI

Job Description:

1. Streamline Digital Analytics efforts to boost revenue across all business segments of the NBFC.

2. Collaborate with business executives and department heads to create advanced analytic data models that drive business growth.

3. Develop and strengthen existing business and credit scorecards across multiple lending products.

4. To translate the policies into the right underwriting standards.

5. Ensure that the end-to-end customer lifecycle performance is in line with expectations.

6. To monitor the health of the portfolio in terms of vintage performance.

7. Work with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities, optimize product performance and marketing efforts.

8. Articulate complex data science models to business teams and present the insights in easily understandable and innovative formats.

9. Turn complex business challenges into clear analytical frameworks using advanced math and statistics, and deliver effective solutions.

Competencies Required:

1. Skills:

a. Good understanding of Financial Products and Credit models

b. Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment

c. Strong knowledge in of R/Python

d. 10+ years of relevant industry experience (NBFC/Lending/Fintech) in a data science/advanced analytics role

e. Data Science fundamentals in Machine Learning, AI, Big Data, Data Visualization, Statistical analysis and computing.

2. Education: Bachelor's degree/Master's Degree required, preferably with a quantitative focus (Statistics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Math, Economics, etc.)

3. Yrs of Exp: 8 - 12 years
