Job Title: Data Restructuring Analyst

Experience: Total experience of 5-15 years with a law firm in legal roles related to debt restructuring or financial law.

Job Summary:

You will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the legal aspects of debt restructuring initiatives within the organization. The individual is responsible for navigating complex legal frameworks, negotiating with creditors, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The role requires a deep understanding of financial restructuring, bankruptcy laws, and a strong legal acumen.

Role & Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough legal analysis of the organization's financial situation and debt obligations.

- Assess the legal implications of various debt restructuring options.

- Engage in negotiations with creditors to achieve favorable terms for debt restructuring.

- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, external legal counsel, and creditors to convey legal strategies and negotiate agreements.

- Draft, review, and revise legal documents related to debt restructuring, including agreements, contracts, and settlement documents.

- Ensure compliance with relevant local, state, and federal laws governing debt restructuring processes.

- Identify legal risks associated with debt restructuring initiatives and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.

- Manage legal proceedings related to debt restructuring, including bankruptcy filings and court appearances.

- Liaise with external legal counsel to represent the organization in legal proceedings when necessary.

- Work closely with finance, accounting, and other departments to gather necessary information and ensure alignment between legal and financial strategies.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelors/ Masters in Law.

- Experience of independent appearance before Courts/ Tribunals at Delhi.

- In-depth knowledge of bankruptcy laws, debt restructuring strategies, and financial regulations.

- Strong negotiation and communication skills.

- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Experience working in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

- Proficient research skills and IT skills.

- Knowledge of research tools such as Manupatra, SCC Online.

- Confidence and ability to independently handle matters.

- Zeal to learn and grow.

- Ability to meet strict deadlines.
