Job Description :

Data as a Platform (DaaP) Organization has a critical responsibility of ensuring Master Data Availability in the Data Lake, for various Business Reporting and Analytical Capabilities to consume. These information objects cut across Functions, Geography and Business Use Cases.

Description :

Key Accountabilities :

- Accountable for establishing, operationalizing and stabilizing a strong Data Lake Master Data Governance Organization, cutting across use cases (Supply Chain, Finance etc)
- (Re)Discover existing UDL Ingestions of Corporate and Regional Master and Reference Data, facilitate Cataloguing MD Objects and Dimensions
- Own UDL and BDL Stories around Corporate Master Data and identify opportunities of Harmonizing, De-Duplicating and Single-Sourcing Truth
- Understand Business Requirements (PDS), build required UDL ingestions from appropriate sources and ensure availability in BDL
- Establish a robust Governance Organization, prescribe clear Process Flows, identify and engage relevant Stakeholders using appropriate tools.
- Identify Data Harmonization and De-Duplication opportunities and build multiple projects to achieve the same Establish Master Data Quality Framework and Measurement Rules for Data Lake MD.

- Liaise with Data Quality Teams to build and run DQ Jobs, tagged with a strong ownership matrix.
- Identify Process Simplification opportunities and work towards more robust process models
- Understand Multiple Master Data Sources, establish Golden-Source Model with Integration solutions, and build Data Catalogues and Data Flow Models between multiple source and target systems
- Organize and Prioritize requirements, manage budgets and resourcing needs and bring visibility to leadership on the demand pipeline
- Work closely with respective Functional and IT Teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of targets

Profile :

Experience, Skills and Qualifications Required:

- M.B.A. or Post graduation in a relevant field (Data Management)
- Overall experience of 10 to 12 years, with relevant hands-on exposure to Data Governance in complex, multi-sourced Master Data Environments
- Good understanding of CPG / FMCG Business Processes
- Broad-based understanding of Information Reporting paradigms in Finance and Supply Chain Domains
- Experience of establishing Master Data Governance Strategies, engaging with Stakeholders from Business, IT, Global Functions, and relevant internal / external SMEs
- Exposure to Change Management and BAU Operations management scenarios
- Excellent Communication, Documentation and Presentation Skills - verbal and non-verbal.
- Experience with Azure Data Lake and related platform is required. Knowledge of Kalido Master Data Solutions is a big plus.

- Data Visualization and Presentation in Data Lake - Preferred, not mandatory
- People and Team Management skills
