Data Engineering Lead/Associate Director - Data Science - Ratings Business

Role Summary -

- Develop, maintain and foster strong client relationships and lead client engagements independently

- Execute and lead data science & data engineering projects autonomously. Have a knack to organize, analyze, synthesize and/or summarize data and information using appropriate analytical methodologies and frameworks

- Lead multiple projects and client assignments ensuring appropriate workflow planning, resource utilization, and quality assurance

- Guide the team in problem solving, developing analytical techniques and frameworks, and the creation of data pipeline and analytics end-products

- Recruit, train, coach and develop data scientists and data engineers

- Lead by example through hands on involvement while accomplishing critical tasks

Technical Skills -

Skill Set

- Experience in ETL tools like SSIS, Talend; Relational Databases like SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostGRE, MongoDB; experience building data pipelines

- Expert user of Python/R and SQL

- Expertise in predictive analytics, statistical and data mining tools and techniques

- Hands-on experience in handling unstructured data and text analytics and build solutions using Machine Learning(ML) and Natural Language Processing(NLP)

- Basic understanding of Hadoop Ecosystem, Cloud technologies

- Basic understanding of NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra

- Experience extracting and working with unstructured text data

- Experience in developing machine learning and deep learning models

- Experience in Solution Design and Solution Architecture

- Experience on Big Data tools/ Hadoop Ecosystem, NoSQL databases such as NoSQL, Cassandra highly desirable

- Hands on experience in banking and financial services desirable

- Strong interpersonal skill, entrepreneur mindset

- Self-motivated, ability to handle ambiguity

- Strong problem solving skills
