Data Engineer - Startup

Well-funded global start-up and Location Intelligence platform is looking for top Data Engineering talent. If you think you are exceptionally good at

- Designing and implementing data processing pipelines for different kinds of data sources

- Developing techniques to analyze and enhance data, both structured and unstructured

- Developing and operationalising data science models in application contexts

Geo operations, Map Reps, Geo visualization

Java

Familiarity with Geo representations (a plus) - Shapefiles, GeoJSON, Maps

Data pipelines - Storm (Realtime)/SparkStreaming, Hadoop (Managing Clusters)

Data Stores - MySQL, Mongo, Cassandra

Data Querying - SQL, NoSQL, Hive - desirable

Familiarity with ElasticSearch/SOLR - desirable
