Data Architect - Online Gaming Firm

- He / She will be responsible for setting the ground work for the future backend infrastructure and also be a liaison between the data and the software engineers.

The client is one of the fastest growing startups and leaders in the online gaming space. They are looking to build and grow their analytics arm and are looking at it to be one of the revenue drivers for the organisation going forward.

Description

- Be one of the leaders in the organisation to help setup the data engineering practice

- Define the strategy to build and upgrade the technical infrastructure

- Be a liaison between the data as well as the software engineers and mentor them in terms of the technical difficulties

- Design and build the database schemas, lakes and pipelines

- Work on mainly real time data and further streamline the flow

Profile

- 5+ years of experience in Hadoop environment

- Has developed data lakes and data pipelines from scratch

- Has worked and has good knowledge on either Java or Python as a programming language

- Has worked specifically on real time streaming using either Kafka or Cassandra
