Data Architect - IT

Responsible for the design and assisting with implementation of the client data ingestion, quality and performance activities which includes reviewing current data architecture to identify key efficiencies as well as assisting with designing and providing architectural guidance for data future state projects.

Roles & Responsibilities : 

- Proven work experience as a Data Architect, Data Scientist, Data Analyst or similar role.

- Ability to provide technical architecture for the company's current state data ingestion, quality and reporting solutions including the custom internal workflow application.

- Ability to review and recommend architectural patterns for data performance improvements and eliminating bottlenecks.

- Experience gathering and analyzing system requirements.

- Ability to collaborate with design & engineering as they develop and continuously improve our internal applications for ingestion, enhancement, modeling, aggregation and publishing

- In-depth understanding of database structure principles.

- Ability to provide guidance and recommendations to migrate data from legacy systems to new solutions.

- Ability to ensure that industry-accepted data architecture principles and standards are integrated and followed for modeling, stored procedures, replication, regulations, and security, among other concepts, to meet technical and business goals.

- Ability to continuously improve the quality, consistency, accessibility, and security of our data activity across company needs.

Should Have : 

- Knowledge of data mining and segmentation techniques.

- Strong experience gathering and analyzing system requirements

- Ability to collaborate with Data Architect and Engineering Leadership to ensure facilitation of consistent data quality control and optimization in EDW at enterprise level.

- Ability to understand the quality of the product systems and the success of the organization.

- Strong analytical and customer service skills.

- Attention to detail, critical thinking and problem solving skills.

- Excellent verbal/written communication skills and be a good team player.
