Currently work from home Primary/Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities: - Architect / Troubleshoot and Maintain Critical Applications and Support Tools - RDMSs (relational database management systems) or foundational database skills - Data visualization and data migration. - Information management and data processing on multiple platforms - Machine learning - Communicate with many different company stakeholders to assess needs and goals - Evaluate current data architecture and databases - Plan end- to-end model for data consumption and analysis - Code new data architecture, integrating existing databases - Use ETL (extract, transform, load) best practices in the creation of the database - Research and discover new methods to acquire data - Monitor databases and report on effectiveness and accuracy, updating as needed - Maintain security of the database, and create standards to ensure that the system is safe - Preserve a repository of all data architecture artifacts - Able to work in both team and individual scenarios - Efficient Organizational Skills. - Self- starter and looks for opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies. - Motivated to continue to learn and not attached to technologies. - Shares information and Knowledge with no hesitation Experience, Education, Certification, License and Training - Bachelor's Degree or better in Computer Science and or Applicable Field - 3+ Years' Experience of Architectual Work. (8+ Years of overall experience) Required Skills: - Applied Mathematics and Statistics - Strong / Clear communication Skills - Strong Social Skills (Must be easy to work with) - Database management system software, especially Microsoft SQL Server. - Databases such as NoSQL and cloud computing - Hadoop technologies, like MapReduce, Hive, and Pig - Data mining and modeling tools, especially ERWin, Enterprise Architect, and Visio - Programming languages, especially Python and Java, as well as C/C++ and Perl - Operating systems, including UNIX, Linux, Solaris, and MS Windows - Backup/archival software Exp- 8- 14 yrs NP- 30- 60 days.
