Data Architect - Banking/Financial Services (Immediate Joiners)

Responsibilities:


- Design and develop robust data architectures and solutions to support Purview's banking domain projects.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Define data modeling standards and best practices to ensure consistency, efficiency, and scalability across projects.

- Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, tools, and frameworks for data management, storage, processing, and analysis.

- Design and optimize data pipelines for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and integration.

- Develop and maintain data governance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.

- Work closely with software engineers, data scientists, and analysts to integrate data architectures into application development and analytical workflows.

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members on data architecture principles, methodologies, and best practices.

- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of data systems to enhance efficiency, reliability, and scalability.

- Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and tools in data management, analytics, and cloud computing to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

- Proven experience (X years) working as a Data Architect in the banking or financial services industry.

- Strong expertise in data modeling, database design, and data warehousing concepts and methodologies.

- Hands-on experience with database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, and distributed data stores.

- Proficiency in data integration tools and techniques, ETL processes, and data pipeline orchestration.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and services for data storage, processing, and analytics.

- Knowledge of data governance frameworks, data security standards, and regulatory compliance requirements in the banking domain.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

- Relevant certifications such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or AWS Certified Solutions Architect is a plus.
