A Data-Architect is a maturity level attained by a Data Management resource after actively working in Transactional Models, Data Loading\Data Reporting and Analytics routines. The role holder must easily translate business requirements to Logical and Physical Models and should comprehend the Entity Models at Enterprise Levels. For instance, such a resource should have the capability to comprehend multiple book of records and create an Information Model that encompasses the enterprise requirements, or in simpler terms, a super set data model. The candidate must be well conversant with enterprise patterns like ESB, ODS, DW, Data Farms, Big Data, data services etc.

Must Have’s:

1) Domain Understanding

2) Knowledge of Industry standard models (ACORD\IIA etc.)

3) Knowledge of data regulations around Solvency 2, HIPPA etc.

4) Knowledge of data Modelling Tools
