Data Analytics (Job Code : J46163)
Job Responsibilities:
- Obtain, document and analyze reporting needs and requirements through collaboration with department leaders
- Translate ad-hoc reporting needs into dashboards via Excel
- Conduct continuous review of reports and identify opportunities for improvements with the aim of minimizing redundant reporting and development of single source of truth where possible
- Ability to handle various data sources to automate data preparation and report creation where possible
- Increased focus on analytics and on providing valuable insights to drive improvement opportunities
- Build understanding of business and operational strategies and identify critical metrics
- Demonstrated experience in design, develop and maintain BI reports, optimizing efficiency in manipulating data and writing complex queries.
- Background in statistics and business/data modeling will be an added advantage
- Advanced Excel knowledge
- Hands on experience in using different DBMS (SQL Server, Oracle, MSQL & Access).
- Hands-on experience in Power-BI and Tableau (advanced Tableau skills will be highlypreferred)
- Knowledge of Python and R would be beneficial
- Candidate should be good with data processing tools, primarily excel and SQL.
- Should be able to plot data, identify trends, study them with an end goal to identify fraud
- Work with claims and audit team to understand on-ground realities
- Knowledge of electronic devices servicing industry will be an advantage
- Should be able to think about and innovate fraud prevention strategies
