Essentials
Business:
- Domain expertise in one of the industries across: Banking, Insurance, Retail, Telecom
Tools and techniques:
- Proficiency in SAS, SQL, Excel/VBA, Statistical modeling (Logistic / Linear regression, GLM modeling, Time-series forecasting, Scorecard development, Clustering, Segmentation etc)
- Good to have: R, SPSS, Hadoop, Machine Learning, Neural Networks
Soft skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven client management experience
- Proven team leadership experience
Functional area/ industry, not mandatory
- Preferably from Banking / Insurance / Retail / Telecom
Job Role :
- Develop Analytics Based Decision Making Frameworks for clients across industry (Banking, Insurance, Retail, Healthcare, Telecom etc)
- Business Development: Help grow the Analytics Business (the candidate will have sales targets for both sales support and independent sales)
- Project Management: Project scoping, delivery, quality management
- Client relationship management
- Team Management (3-10 resources)
- Capability Development: Develop new analytics solutions (as per market requirement); and continue to focus on enhancing the existing solution suite
- Embed analytics in existing EY offerings around Audit, Tax etc
Academic Qualifications - B Tech & MBA from top tier engineering/B-Schools or Masters in Statistics / Economics from the top universities
Experience - 6-9 years (Manager);
Likely Companies - MuSigma, Fractal, Amex, Capital One, Opera, Boston Analytics, Latent View Analytics, EXL Decision Analytics etc
