Job Brief:

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst with 3-4 years of experience, particularly in the realm of Business Intelligence. The ideal candidate should be adept at managing responsibilities while possessing a strategic mindset. The primary objective is to ensure that the University's Business Intelligence needs are met and aligned with management objectives.

Responsibilities:

- Serve as the go-to person for Business Intelligence, demonstrating expertise in databases, skillful data extraction, and the development of business metrics. Build frameworks, dashboards, and formulate processes for management and operational reporting.

- Provide technical expertise on data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.

- Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards based on business needs. Transform raw data into meaningful insights by cleaning, transforming, and modeling data using Power Query and DAX.

- Handle ETL processes to acquire data from primary or secondary sources and maintain databases/data systems.

- Manage master data, including creation, updates, and deletion. Manage users and user roles.

- Ensure quality assurance of imported data, correcting data input processes if necessary. Process confidential data and information according to guidelines.

- Manage and design the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata. Support the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements.

- Support initiatives for data integrity and normalization.

- Generate reports from single or multiple systems.

- Train end users on new reports and dashboards.

- Utilize graphs, infographics, and other methods to visualize data.

Requirements

- SQL (mandatory Skill)

- Advanced MS Excel (mandatory Skill)

- Power BI (mandatory Skill)

- Reporting packages (Business Objects, etc.)

- Programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks)

- Analytical and problem-solving skills

- Data warehousing and ETL techniques.

Experience: 3-4 years (Experience in a similar industry is a plus)

Education: B.Tech in Information Technology or Computer Science
