Data Analyst - Quantitative Research


Programme, Process and Data Flow and reporting (80%):

- Maintain the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data.

- Work with external stakeholders and internal programme teams to drive and assist data- related issues and own and support the - Validation process data infrastructure needs.

- Ensure data and privacy integrity and secure across national boundaries through data platforms and regions.

- Create and link data tools, deliver analytics for specialist science team members and assist them in building and optimising our reporting as a multi-stakeholder initiative.

- Support the creation and review of a systems capability strategy that meets the strategic requirements of the business.

- Maintain and implements master data management processes, including classification, security, quality, ethical principles, retrieval, and retention processes.

- Establish data dictionary definitions, governance practices and standards, partnering with security architects to ensure compliance with data security and privacy mandates.

- Troubleshooting with data collection partners as needed
 
Development within Project Management (10%) : 

- Capture and prioritise market and environmental trends, business strategies and objectives, and identifies the business benefits of alternative strategies.

- Develops and presents business cases, for high-level initiatives, approval, funding, and prioritisation.

- Draws up plans for the transitions and implementation plans of authorised new applications and infrastructure support, identifying budgetary, legislative, regulatory, policy, technical and staffing constraints, and clearly showing costs and expected benefits. Plans include identification and assessment of business risks.

Other Tasks (10%) : 

- Works with team to review the effectiveness of the current strategies in supporting business objectives. Supports the creation of ICT and business strategies, specifying requirements, conducting feasibility studies to identify the business benefits of alternative strategies, and producing strategic models of the organization's information and communications needs.

- Builds knowledge of organisation objectives, issues, and opportunities, and understands how IT should be embedded to support, address and exploit them. Seeks and gains senior stakeholder involvement and support into the strategic planning process.
