Data Analyst - IT

Role Description:

Analyst role requires strong understanding of various business functions. The roles require translating business requirement to functional requirements, figure what are the key performance measures that affect business and assist business leaders and users to interpret information and make the informed decisions.

Role Requirement:

Strong Knowledge in Data Warehouse concepts (Dimensions, attributes, qualities (cross dimensional attributes), transformation, measures, key performance indicators)

- Proficient in basic SQL concepts (Able to select data from one or more datasets)

- Sound aptitude, outstanding logical reasoning, and analytical skills

- Strong and effective communication and presentation skills

- Good Knowledge and Understanding of dashboarding and storyboarding. Should be able to interpret information to identify issues / challenges

- Should be able to quickly come up with root cause and a solution if possible

- Experience in requirements gathering, Data Profiling, Data

- Experience in requirements gathering, Data Profiling, Data Interpretation and documentation processes

- Knowledgeable in databases and in any BI tools will be an added advantage

- Willingness to learn and take initiatives

- Ability to work with a diverse team and adapt to fast-paced Agile environment

Additional Requirement:

- Conduct gap analysis and root cause analysis to find the data anomalies and define problem statement

- Perform various data analysis in SQL & MS Excel -

- Analyze data by reviewing reports and key performance indicators to locate issue

- Work with business team to prioritize business and information needs

- Experience with any on-prem or cloud databases is required

- experience with any Reporting Tools (Tableau, Power BI, MSTR, BOBJ, Qlik etc.)

- Experience in programming (Python, R, or ETL frameworks) is a plus

- Knowledge of Statistics and experience in statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS) is a plus
