Data Analyst - Institutional Equities

Skills Required :

Functional :

- Interest and understanding of equity and capital markets in general; understanding of fundamental analysis. Expertise with data platforms like Bloomberg, Capitaline, ACE, Reuters etc. would be preferred; knowledge of statistical programming languages like R/Python would be good to have. Ability to perform intelligent analysis on the data to make the output more informative for the user.

Technical (Software / IT related) :

- Bloomberg, Capitaline, ACE Equity, Reuters, Excel, Word etc.

Role :

- Maintaining databases and records of internal analyst estimates and communication of the same with clients in the prescribed formats.

- Extract large datasets from platforms like Bloomberg, Capitaline, ACE Equity etc. and providing the strategy and research team with data as per requirements.

- Assist with ad-hoc data requests from clients on a quick TAT
