Data Analyst - Fraud Analysis & Python

Data Analyst- Fraud analysis & Python (2+ years) Gurgaon/Bangalore

An exciting opportunity for a professional having strong knowledge fraud analytics with at least 2+ years of relevant experience in financial crime analytics or fraud analysis. A perfect role fit for the one having strong knowledge of and experience of Python.

Location: Bangalore/Gurgaon

Your future employer: An American multinational professional service company mainly involved in the operations management and analytics. It offers insurance, banking, financial services, utilities, healthcare, travel, transportation and logistics services.

Responsibilities:

- Implementing various scenarios /rules using any of the AML Vendor tools stated.

- Interpreting data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports

- Developing and implementing databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality

- Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems

- Identifying analyzing, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets

- Managing client projects and internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

- Masters and Bachelors in Engineering, Computer Science or a related quantitative discipline

- Analytical/numerical expertise demonstrated by cutting edge quantitative/statistical research and analysis projects

- Strong knowledge of AML or fraud analytics with at least 2+ of relevant experience.

- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques

- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

- Experience of Python.
